Ingrediants for Paneer Kurma

Potatoes 2 medium size
Peas 1 Cup
Paneer 1/4 Cup
Onion 2 Big sliced
Onions 3
Curd 1/2 Cup
Green chillies 6
Garlic 1 Pod
Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoon
Pepper powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Saunf 1 Teaspoon
Ginger 1" piece
Cloves 4
Cinnamon 2 pieces
Cardamom 3
Coconut 1/2 medium
Poppy seeds (Khus Khus) 1 teaspoon
Cashew nuts 1 teaspoon


Method to prepare Paneer Kurma

  • Boil potatoes peel , cut in cubes and deep fry till golden brown.
  • Grind all the masala except the garlic, turmeric and pepper, but grind these three ingredients separately.
  • Fry onions in 2 tablespoons oil, in a pan till brown.
  • Add group A masala, fry a little more, and add 2 cups of water and potatoes.
  • Fry paneer in a separate pan and add to the curry.
  • Add salt and simmer for few minutes.
  • Now add the group B masala and beaten curd.
  • Bring to boil and remove from fire.
